[ARCHIVED] NOTICE OF APPLICATION & PUBLIC HEARING

Project Location: 2003 & 2005 Cove Place; 2004 & 2006 Cove Place; 5301 & 5303 Doon Way

The agent on behalf of the property owners have requested a Shoreline Substantial Development permit with SEPA review for the replacement of (3) existing joint use docks. The proposal is occurring at (3) locations within the Skyline Subdivision. Location 1 (2003 & 2005 Cove Pl) proposes the removal of (2) single use docks to be replaced with (1) joint use dock; said dock will be a total of 336 sq. ft and include: (2) 12” steel pilings, 8 ft. by 42 ft. float, and a new 4 ft. by 40 ft. grated gangway ramp. Location 2 (2004 & 2006 Cove Pl) proposes the removal of the existing 324 sq. ft. joint use dock to be replaced with a 299 sq. ft. joint use dock; said dock will include: (2) 12” steel pilings, 8 ft. by 46 ft. float (the width will taper from 8 ft. to 5 ft.), and a new 4 ft. by 42 ft. grated gangway ramp. Location 3 (5301 & 5303 Doon Way) proposes the removal of the existing 288 sq. ft. joint use dock to be replaced with a 299 sq. ft. joint use dock; said dock will include: (2) 12” steel pilings, 8 ft. by 46 ft. float (the width will taper from 8 ft. to 5 ft.), and a new 4 ft. by 32 ft. grated gangway ramp. Each of the proposed floats would allow for 62% light permeability due to the FRP grated decking. The subject properties are located within the Shoreline Residential shoreline environment designation with majority of the work occurring within the Aquatic shoreline environment designation.
