The wet July weather has once again affected the Anacortes Public Work's slurry seal project on some city streets.
The forecast predicts the rain will continue through Thursday, July 11, meaning work scheduled will move to the end of the project to Thursday, July 18.
Friday, July 12, is still on for slurry sealing as it looks like the weather will clear by then.
Intermountain Slurry Seal crews will be working 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Residents and others will NOT be able to drive or walk on the streets for up to 8 hours.
If the work falls on your garbage day, know that crews will pick up double the garbage on your next pickup day.
