The City of Anacortes’ Slurry Seal 2018 project has been delayed. Work is now scheduled to
begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2018.
The City at this time does not have the exact schedule of road closures; however, as soon as
possible the City will make a continuously updated schedule for specific street closures
available by mailers, fliers (posted on resident doors), sandwich boards near affected streets, and
websites, including here on the city site and www.facebook.com/AnacortesPublicWorks.
The work is scheduled to occur between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. during the weekdays of the above
schedule. You will not be able to access the road to your driveway for up to 8 hours during the
road closure.
Anacortes’ Public Works Engineering acknowledges the inconvenience of this project and asks
neighborhood residents and anyone providing services to these areas for their cooperation to
minimize the time needed for the work.
