We just want to remind those residents along 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th streets, and between L and N avenues that next week they will again have to put their garbage cans out on their frontage streets instead of the usual alleyway.
The approaches to their alleys are being rebuilt as part of the city's utility and street improvement project on M Avenue.
The following alley approaches along M Avenue are expected to be closed through about June 11:
• the west entrance between 15th and 16th
• the east and west entrance between 16th and 17th
• the east and west entrance between 17th and 18th.
The map shows the alley closures in red and solid waste pick up relocations in yellow.
