[ARCHIVED] Waterline Replacement:

Skyline Way - Cabana Lane Watermain Shutdown

As part of the City’s waterline replacement program, the City has contracted with Raw Land Construction, Inc. to replace approximately 4800 LF of watermain on Kingsway from Skyline Way to Anaco Beach Road.
While replacing watermain in the Skyline Way/Kingsway intersection, it was discovered that a section of the existing 12” watermain needs replacement. This work will require a shutdown of this watermain.  This watermain shutdown will affect all residents and businesses south of the Skyline Way/Kingsway intersection. This includes Skyline Way and Cabana Lane.
We understand the impact of this waterman shutdown and will perform the required work the evening of Tuesday, June 20th between the hours of 9 pm to 6 am. Just to be clear, residents and businesses will not have water during this time. The contractor will be working diligently to complete the work as efficiently as possible.
Additional notifications will be posted on social media, particularly the City of Anacortes website at and the Public Works Facebook page at
Thank you in advance for your patience during construction as we make these needed improvements to our water system. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Jeff Beltramini at (360) 293-1936 or
