Observations from a Roaming Volunteer in Ukraine

Anacortes resident Marketa Vorel spent this spring in Ukraine on a humanitarian mission. She became inspired by the incredible bravery and grit of the Ukrainian people. Marketa will share observations, anecdotes, photos, and answer your questions about the people she met, what it’s like under Russian occupation, and how Ukrainians restored her faith in humanity.
