As of July 1st, nearly all COVID related restrictions have been lifted. Please refer to the FAQ below for all of the details.

Appointment Questions

> Do we still need appointments to visit the library

No appointments necessary for browsing or computer visits.

What can I do at the library?

> Do I have to wear a mask?

Fully vaccinated visitors may choose to go mask-less. Those who are unvaccinated, or not fully vaccinated are required to wear masks in accordance with CDC guidelines at all times while on library premises.

> Does my child have to wear a mask?

All unvaccinated individuals must wear a mask. Children between ages 2 and 5 years of age are encouraged but not required to wear a mask.

> Are public computers available for use?

Public computers are available without the need for an appointment.

Children’s Library Questions

> Does my unvaccinated child have to wear a mask?

All unvaccinated individuals over the age of 5 are required to wear a mask. Children under 5 but older than 2 are encouraged to wear a mask whenever possible.

> Will the toys and play area be available?

All toys and seating are unavailable at this time.

> Are the children’s activities and computers available?

No, not at this time.

> Will there be any in-person storytimes or programs?

Not at this time. Virtual programs will continue.

General Questions

> Will curbside delivery be available?

Yes, anytime during open hours curbside service will also be available.

> Are volunteers allowed in the building yet?

Not at this time, due to capacity limitations.

> Can I come in for a Tech Tuesday Appointment?

We don’t have Tech Tuesday available at this time, but if you have a specific technological need when using a device at the library, library staff is available to assist. Please call us to discuss your specific need.

> Can I reserve the meeting room or study rooms?

No, not at this time but sometime in July you'll be able to make reservations. Please sign up for the library newsletter for the latest updates.

> Will the Friends bookstore be open?

Not yet, but there are some books available to purchase in the lobby (there is an honor system cash box).

> Can I donate books to the library?

No, we are not currently accepting donations. We will post updates once the FriendShop book store reopens.

> Are passport appointments available?

Passport appointments will be available starting July 10th.
